Union Square Grand PrixUpdate # 2

Trains, Planes and Radio Controlled Automobiles.

Hi and welcome to latest update on the Union Square Grand Prix, entries are filling pretty fast and if you are thinking you can leave your entry for a week or so think again, interest is high and places are now at a premium, more details on the entry list coming later this coming week.

Here are a few more updates and information to help those of you who have entered the race.

Trains

Please don’t disregard the train as a good method of getting to the race, like me you may feel going to a race on a train is a little weird, but I have been informed by an English racer that from his home town near Cambridge a train ticket to Aberdeen is around £75.00, important to remember that you walk straight out of the station and straight in to Union Square where the race and hotel is situated.

Planes

I mentioned in my first update the flights from Birmingham; I have also been told that there is a 7.30 flight out of Luton via Easy Jet which will also fits the bill with regard to the time frame we are working with.

Automobiles

Later this week a full set of rules covering both classes will be confirmed, don’t worry about any big surprises, the rules will be based around the current BRCA 2010 regulations?
